Job Locations and Reviews
Upon arrival, I inspected the indoor and outdoor units, which were not operational. The wet switch was in an alarm state and could not be reset. I confirmed that the drain was clear. Further investigation revealed that the water heater, located next to the furnace, had started leaking. This water heater had been replaced just three days prior. I contacted the shop to request a field supervisor's assistance. After the supervisor arrived, we bypassed the wet switch as the customer opted not to replace it. The system was tested to ensure proper functionality post-bypass. The job was completed efficiently, and the customer was satisfied with the resolution. Work Order number TNFR696504, check number 171.
Maintenance was performed on two gas furnaces. The attic system achieved a delta T of 23 degrees, with a voltage of 118v and no filter change needed. The indoor coil drain pan and air handler were cleaned. The outdoor unit ran in cooling with 237v, and the voltage enhancement system was out of range at 34mfd. The basement system reached a delta T of 19 degrees, with a voltage of 118v and a filter change pending. The indoor coil drain pan and air handler were cleaned. The outdoor unit ran in cooling with 238v, and the voltage enhancement system was out of range at 41mfd.
Recently, I assisted a client in selecting and purchasing a gold club with a heather finish. I guided them through various options, considering factors such as weight, balance, and performance. After thorough evaluation, we chose a club that perfectly matched their swing style and preferences. I ensured the club was properly fitted and demonstrated its usage. The client left satisfied with their new equipment, ready to enhance their game.
Today, I conducted a thorough cleaning and inspection of the air conditioning system, focusing on both the indoor and outdoor units. The evaporator and condenser coils, along with the unit cabinets, were cleaned to ensure optimal airflow and heat transfer efficiency. All high- and low-voltage wiring and electrical connections were inspected, with no visible defects found. The condensate drains and safety controls were tested and verified to be functioning correctly. The system was operated and tested in both cooling and heating modes. The indoor unit's filter was changed, and the drain line was cleared. The outdoor unit's voltage storage device showed signs of corrosion and arcing, necessitating a replacement to prevent potential damage and system failure.
Upon inspection, the condensate pump was found to be continuously running and unresponsive to reset attempts. To prevent further operation, I carefully unwired the pump to ensure it would not continue running. Given the persistent issue, it was determined that the pump needed to be replaced. The homeowner has decided to leave the pump off for now, and I provided guidance on the replacement process. The job was completed efficiently, ensuring the system would not cause any further issues.
