Upon inspection, the capacitor was not the issue, as the ohm readings were significantly higher than the expected 1.5/2.5. The unit started with a hard start, but this was not a reliable long-term solution. Given the unit's age of over 25 years and its use of R-22 refrigerant, it was clear that more extensive repairs were needed. I recommended a field supervisor visit to assess the situation further and discuss potential solutions. The unit's age and condition indicated that a replacement might be the most practical and efficient option for the client.
Upon arrival, I assessed the unit and found it running at 1397 cfm with a static pressure of 0.04. To optimize performance, I adjusted the fan speed to 1705 cfm, resulting in a static pressure of 0.06. The unit, a 4-ton system, requires a 1600 cfm charge for optimal operation. After the adjustment, the unit appeared to be functioning correctly with no faults detected on the equipment. The system was thoroughly inspected, and all components were found to be in good working condition. The job was completed efficiently, ensuring the unit operates at peak performance.
Upon arrival, the air conditioning was operational and maintaining a comfortable 70°. I inspected the voltage at the heat pump, finding it at 252-253 volts, significantly above the standard 230/240 volts for residential systems. This high voltage could damage the electronics. I replaced the 30-amp breaker with a 45-amp one to ensure the system operates safely. The voltage monitor was installed to prevent future issues. All operations are now running normally.
Job WO-TNFR685114 involved a comprehensive rejuvenation of the bacterial prevention system. We replaced all components associated with the unit, ensuring optimal functionality. Each part was meticulously inspected and installed to guarantee efficiency. Post-installation, we conducted thorough testing to confirm the system's proper operation. The customer expressed high satisfaction with both the quality of our work and our exceptional customer service. The system is now running smoothly, meeting all performance standards.
Great job!

Upon arrival, I inspected the boiler and found it operational but experiencing a delayed ignition, resulting in a noticeable bang when the gas ignited. I thoroughly cleaned the ignition assembly and burners to ensure optimal performance. However, the issue persisted, indicating the need for a replacement ignitor. I have identified the required part and will order it to complete the repair. This detailed approach ensures the boiler operates efficiently and safely.
the exhaust removal system at the condenser was obstructed, requiring cleaning. Additionally, the air handler breaker had tripped, necessitating preventative maintenance. The system also needed cleaning to assess the refrigerant charge and efficiency. I recorded crackling at the AC breaker, indicating a potential failure. The AC requires a 15-amp fuse but currently has a 20-amp breaker. Due to safety concerns, the AC was shut down. I advised the homeowner to keep the unit off until the breaker is replaced and to have the service panel inspected by a certified electrician.
I conducted a comprehensive maintenance check on a heat pump system, ensuring optimal performance. The Delta T was recorded at 19 degrees, indicating efficient operation. The air handler and indoor coil drain pan were meticulously cleaned. Although the filters required replacement, no spare filters were available on-site. I recommended installing a pan treatment in the indoor coil drain pan for enhanced efficiency. The blower wheel successfully passed the tissue test. The homeowner was presented with options for custom-ordered filters, though he decided to consider his options further. The outdoor unit operated smoothly in cooling mode, with voltages and amps within acceptable ranges. The electrical panel was cleared of cobwebs and bugs, and the outdoor coil was free of debris, requiring no immediate cleaning.
Upon arrival, the air conditioning system was operational, but the condenser coil was heavily impacted, particularly on the side facing the house. The customer opted for the silver package, which includes replacing any necessary components and performing a thorough cleaning of the condenser coil. I began by inspecting the AC system and identified the impacted condenser coil. I then replaced the necessary components and meticulously cleaned the condenser coil to ensure optimal performance. After completing the repair and cleaning, I checked the system's operations and confirmed that everything was running normally. Following the repair, I performed additional AC cleanings to ensure the system's efficiency. The total cost for the services provided was $971.40.
During the gold club maintenance of the heat pump system, I ensured optimal performance by addressing several key areas. The Delta T was recorded at 20 degrees, and the filter was replaced to enhance air quality. Voltages and amps were verified to be within acceptable ranges. The interior of the air handler, including the indoor coil drain pan, was meticulously cleaned. The drain pan treatment is due for replacement, and the EZ trap showed signs of algae and sediment buildup, which a new treatment would mitigate. The blower wheel, affected by biological growth and dust, requires cleaning. The outdoor unit operated in cooling mode, displaying no error codes and a clean coil. A blower wheel cleaning, included in the level one service, was recommended to the homeowner, with a $625 discount if chosen.
We successfully reconfigured the communication wiring to meet the client's needs. The project involved relocating the wiring from the front bedroom to the middle room. This required careful planning and precise execution to ensure minimal disruption. We began by assessing the existing wiring layout and identifying the necessary changes. After mapping out the new configuration, we safely disconnected the old wiring and installed new cables in the designated path. Throughout the process, we ensured all connections were secure and tested the system to confirm functionality. The job was completed efficiently, with attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
Job completion report for WO-TNFR687724 involved addressing a customer's concern regarding the air conditioning system not cooling effectively. Upon inspection, I identified issues with the voltage enhancement, which was affecting the system's performance. I discussed the findings with the customer, who opted for the repair solution. I proceeded to make the necessary repairs, ensuring all components were functioning correctly. Post-repair, I conducted thorough testing to confirm the system was operating as intended, restoring the cooling efficiency. The customer was satisfied with the resolution and the restored functionality of the air conditioning system.
Upon receiving the customer's concern about the air conditioning system struggling on particularly hot days, I conducted a thorough assessment. I measured the delta.t. temperatures, which were found to be lower than the optimal range for efficient system operation. I then engaged in a detailed discussion with the customer about the condition of the air movement components, explaining the importance of their proper functioning. I provided the customer with several viable options to restore the system's optimal performance, ensuring they understood each choice's benefits and implications. This comprehensive approach allowed the customer to make an informed decision, ultimately enhancing the system's efficiency.
Well done. Excellent!
I conducted a thorough maintenance check on the gas furnace's AC components. Despite the supply duct being inaccessible, I ensured voltages and amps in the air handler were within acceptable limits. The inside of the air handler was meticulously cleaned, and the blower wheel passed the tissue test. The condensate line was cleared of debris, and the entire condensate removal system was tested, operating flawlessly. A new filter was installed, and the outdoor unit, a S series model, was inspected while running in cooling mode. The coil was cleaned using water to remove trapped debris.
Upon arrival, I found the air conditioning system operational and maintaining a comfortable 74⁰F. The customer reported intermittent significant vibrations from the evaporator head. I inspected the condensate drain and discovered that the condensate pump, responsible for removing condensate, was not functioning properly. The pump was vibrating excessively and ultimately failed. I ordered a replacement pump and informed the customer that I would return to install it. Additionally, I noted that the evaporator head was not seated flush against the wall, which should be corrected once the new pump is installed. This issue is covered under warranty.
A new central return air duct was installed adjacent to the wall controller to enhance airflow and system efficiency. External static pressure was assessed, and airflow was verified to meet specifications. The temperature differential (Delta T) was measured at 20°F, within the acceptable range. Post-installation, the system was thoroughly tested to ensure all components functioned correctly. The system is now operating normally and as intended.
I conducted a thorough cleaning and inspection of the air conditioning system, focusing on both the indoor and outdoor units. This involved cleaning the evaporator and condenser coils, and the unit cabinets to ensure optimal airflow and efficiency. I inspected all wiring and electrical connections, tested condensate drains and safety controls, and operated the system in both cooling and heating modes. The voltage enhancement system was replaced due to a power outage, and all components were verified to be functioning within manufacturer specifications.

During the inspection, we identified issues with the UV and bacteria filtration systems. These systems are crucial for maintaining air quality, and their malfunction could compromise the overall performance. After a thorough examination, it was determined that replacement parts are required to rectify the problem. Once the necessary parts arrive, we will return to complete the repair. The office will contact you to schedule the follow-up visit. Ensuring these systems function correctly is vital for the safety and efficiency of the operations.
I contacted the customer to discuss the necessary steps to repair their unit. I provided a comprehensive explanation of the issues identified during our previous assessment and outlined the specific actions required to resolve them. I ensured the customer understood each step and answered any questions they had about the repair process. I emphasized the importance of scheduling the repair promptly to avoid further complications. The customer expressed understanding and agreed to call back to arrange a suitable time for the repair work to be carried out.
During the service, a comprehensive inspection of the HVAC system was conducted, revealing a failure in the exhaust removal system. Detailed diagnosis pinpointed the need for replacing the exhaust motor and blower wheel/blade assembly. Additionally, electrical testing on the refrigerant pumping system compressor showed insulation resistance readings below 20 megaohms, indicating a compressor failure. Consequently, the entire refrigerant pumping system must be replaced. To ensure a reliable repair, all associated components will be replaced as per manufacturer recommendations. This includes any additional components affected by the compressor failure to guarantee proper system operation and reliability.
Upon receiving a customer concern about the air conditioning not functioning, I inspected the system and identified issues with the condensate drain safety switch. I cleared the blocked trap and verified the Delta T. After these adjustments, the system is now operating correctly. I informed the customer about the resolution and strongly recommended installing a water removal system for Rejuvenation to prevent future issues.
Upon inspection, the high water alarm was triggered, indicating a potential issue. After thorough investigation, it was determined that the submersible pump was malfunctioning. The Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) had tripped, causing the alarm. I reset the GFI to restore normal operation temporarily. However, for future occurrences of this fault, it is advisable to contact a licensed electrician to ensure proper diagnosis and repair of the pump or electrical system. This proactive approach will help prevent further disruptions and ensure the safety and efficiency of the system.
Upon arrival, the house temperature was 80 degrees. The pressure was high, so I bled off approximately 6 ounces. Despite this, the pressure did not change. I rinsed the condenser coil and measured 140 suction, previously at 160. Adjusting the fan parameters improved airflow from 1138 cfm to 1257 cfm. I also sped up the ramp time for the second stage cooling. Although the humidity dropped by 6%, the temperature remained at 81 degrees. The customer was not fully satisfied as the temperature did not decrease from 80 degrees. There was no sweating or cold temperatures observed.
The rep turned my unit to see of it was working. Explained my fans are not working. I just realized he left my system on after he left.
