The "New Castle Protocol" for Interior Wellness
-
Atmospheric Scrubbing: Older homes tend to trap more "space dust" and allergens. We install active air scrubbers that send out ions to neutralize pollutants on surfaces and in the air you breathe.
-
Fuel Conversion Logistics: Tired of the oil delivery shuttle? We specialize in helping New Castle homeowners switch to clean-burning, high-efficiency natural gas or electric heat pump systems.
-
High-Performance Sealing: We use aerosolized sealant to traverse the complicated, winding ductwork of older New Castle properties, plugging energy leaks that are physically impossible to reach by hand.

Upon arrival, I assessed the situation where the air conditioning unit was leaking water. The customer had already taken some initial steps to address the issue. The customer appreciated the comprehensive service and opted to purchase our yearly Gold plan for ongoing maintenance and support.
R to C = 0.9 ohms, R to S = 2.7 ohms, and S to C = 1.8 ohms. Electrical performance of the compressor showed an LRA of 85.5 amps, slightly above the factory specification of 79.0 amps, while the RLA was 8.8 amps, below the 16.7 amps specification. The condenser fan motor's FLA was 0.85 amps, within the 0.95 amps specification. The diagnosis confirms a failed voltage enhancement system requiring replacement, while the refrigerant pumping and exhaust removal systems are operating within acceptable parameters.
Upon arrival, I conducted a thorough inspection of the system to identify any potential issues. I began by examining the power supply and ensuring all connections were secure. Next, I tested the system's functionality, running diagnostics to check for any irregularities. After confirming that the system was operating within normal parameters, I proceeded to clean and maintain the components to ensure longevity and efficiency. I also provided the customer with a detailed explanation of the system's operation and maintenance tips to prevent future issues. The system is now fully operational and running smoothly.
Upon receiving the work order, I promptly inspected the air conditioning system to address the customer's concern regarding its inoperative state. Upon thorough examination, I identified issues with the voltage enhancement components, which were impeding proper functionality. I proceeded to perform the necessary repairs, ensuring that all components were correctly installed and functioning as intended. After completing the repairs, I conducted a series of tests to confirm that the system was operating efficiently. The air conditioning unit is now running smoothly, providing the desired cooling effect. I advised the customer to schedule a routine service to maintain the system's optimal performance.
I conducted preventative maintenance on two AC systems. All filters within the store were replaced. The outdoor units were inspected and tested on the rooftop. One unit remains inoperable due to an internal electrical issue. The other unit was tested and is currently operating efficiently. I ensured both systems are ready for optimal performance.
I thoroughly inspected the furnace to ensure it was operating efficiently and safely. I examined all components, including the burners, heat exchanger, and control systems. I also cleared any blockages from the condensate drains to prevent water buildup. After completing these checks, I confirmed that the furnace was in excellent condition and functioning properly.
Job WO-TNFR680898 involved a comprehensive replacement and testing of all components in the system. I began by carefully disassembling the existing system to identify and remove any faulty parts. Each component was meticulously replaced with high-quality, compatible parts. After installation, I conducted thorough testing to ensure that all parts were functioning correctly and efficiently. This included checking for proper operation, performance, and safety. The system was restored to optimal condition, providing reliable service. Job WO-TNFR681782 was also successfully completed, involving similar replacement and testing procedures.

Upon arrival, I inspected the indoor unit to address a reported noise issue. The ECM motor exhibited a slight rumble, which was concerning. I discovered that the updated software was running at half speed, likely contributing to the noise. After the software update, I monitored the fan operation and confirmed it was now running at the proper CFM of 1660. Despite the software adjustment, the motor's rumble persisted, indicating a need for replacement. I will order a new motor and schedule the replacement to resolve the issue completely. This thorough assessment and planned replacement should ensure the system operates smoothly and quietly.
Upon arrival, I assessed the AC system which was running more frequently than usual. Despite being operational, it was not running efficiently. A thorough inspection revealed that the evaporator coil was dirty and the condenser was completely plugged. I meticulously cleaned both coils using specialized chemicals to remove dirt and debris. After cleaning, I reassembled the system and conducted a comprehensive operational check. The system is now running to specifications, with a DeltaT of 20°. The improved efficiency should result in better performance and energy savings. Job completed successfully.
Today, I conducted a thorough cleaning and inspection of the air conditioning system. This included cleaning the evaporator and condenser coils, as well as the unit cabinets, to ensure optimal airflow and heat transfer efficiency. I inspected all high- and low-voltage wiring and electrical connections, which were secure with no visible defects. I tested and verified the proper operation of the condensate drains and all safety controls. The system was operated and tested in both cooling and heating modes. The air filter passed, and the heat exchanger and water removal system also passed. However, the voltage enhancement device failed, and I recommended a replacement to extend the compressor's lifespan. I also identified a fault in the disconnect pull-out and provided an additional estimate for its repair.
I conducted a thorough rejuvenation of the AC system, focusing on the club area. The process involved a comprehensive cleaning of all components and a detailed system test. The air filters were replaced, and all ducts were inspected for blockages. The system is now operating efficiently, with no major issues detected. I anticipate it will perform well throughout the summer.
Upon arrival, the indoor temperature was set to and running at 74°F. I conducted a thorough leak search on both the outdoor unit and indoor coil using bubble and inficon leak search methods, finding no leaks. The Delta T was initially 16°F, with the outdoor unit showing 24°F subcooling and pressures of 390 on the high side and 176 on the low side, indicating a slightly overcharged system. With the system off, the ambient temperature rose to 77°F within 35 minutes. I removed 2.4oz of refrigerant until the subcooling stabilized at 11.2°F. After running the system for 15 to 20 minutes, I rechecked the Delta T, which improved to 19°F. The subcooling remained steady at 11.0°F, and the thermostat temperature set to 74°F resulted in a 1°F drop in ambient temperature over 15 to 20 minutes. The thermostat reading was 74/76°F. No fault codes or leaks were detected, and all system parameters are within normal manufacturer specifications.
Excellent and knowledgeable service man
We completed a comprehensive rejuvenation of the club system. This involved a thorough cleaning of all components, ensuring that dirt, debris, and any potential contaminants were removed. Following the cleaning, we conducted extensive testing to verify the system's functionality and efficiency. Our tests confirmed that the system is operating smoothly without any issues. We meticulously inspected each part to ensure everything was in optimal condition. No concerns were identified during our assessment. We will notify the office, and they will coordinate the next scheduled cleaning.
I meticulously documented the damages and dirt left at the job site by taking clear and detailed photographs. Ensuring no evidence of our work was overlooked, I collected a drop cloth, a duct cleaning remote, and various tools that were left behind. Each item was carefully gathered and secured, ensuring that the site was left in a clean and organized state. My attention to detail ensured that all equipment was accounted for and returned to its proper place, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and efficiency.
