On 7/30/2026, I completed the commissioning of an Amana ALXS5BA4210AA HVAC system for Lawrence Wilson. The outdoor condenser was installed level and secure, with all required clearances and shipping materials removed. The coil was inspected for damage, and the fan blade was secure and unobstructed. Electrical disconnect was installed and labeled, and line voltage was within specifications at 244 V. The indoor evaporator coil was properly matched to the condenser, and refrigerant line connections were leak-free. The system operated within manufacturer specifications, with a Delta T of 20°F and a temperature split within specifications. The system was cleaned, and Lawrence was instructed on operation and filter maintenance.
Upon arrival, I found the RTU off, as it was left during my last visit. I began a high-density system renovation, replacing the air movement system bearings for the blower shaft. After installing a new A44 belt, I adjusted the belt tension and left a spare in the cabinet. Following the replacement of parts and filters, I powered up the system to check the blower amps. I adjusted the blower amps on the adjustable pulley to meet manufacturer specifications. The system started successfully, with the blower running smoothly and all electrical voltages and amps within the manufacturer's specifications. The refrigerant charge was verified to be good, running at a DeltaT of 20°F. I ensured the evaporator wasn't freezing and that condensation was occurring. All system operations were confirmed to be running normally. The remaining balance of $1,228.00 was collected via credit card.
I began by inspecting the Navien tankless water heater to ensure it was operating correctly. The unit was running smoothly with no error codes present. I then proceeded to flush the system using a specialized cleaner to remove any sediment or mineral buildup within the tankless water heater. After the initial flush, I refilled the unit with fresh water to ensure optimal performance. I meticulously cleaned the sensors to guarantee accurate readings and efficient operation. Upon completion, I ran a series of tests to confirm that the unit was free of any error codes and was functioning at peak efficiency. The job was successfully completed with the water heater operating flawlessly.
Work Order TNFR695667 involved the removal and replacement of a malfunctioning condensate pump. Upon inspection, it was determined that the existing pump was not functioning correctly, leading to potential system inefficiencies and risks of water damage. I carefully dismantled the old pump, ensuring all connections and components were safely disconnected. The new pump was then installed, with each connection meticulously secured to ensure optimal performance. Post-installation, I conducted thorough testing to verify that the new pump was operating correctly and efficiently. The system was monitored for a period to confirm stability and proper function. All tests were successful, and the system is now fully operational.
Recently, I completed a comprehensive service that involved diagnosing and repairing a malfunctioning HVAC system. Upon arrival, I conducted a thorough inspection of the unit, identifying issues with the thermostat and refrigerant levels. I replaced the faulty thermostat and recharged the refrigerant to optimal levels. Additionally, I cleaned and inspected the air filters, ensuring they were free of dust and debris. The system was tested to confirm proper operation, and I provided the customer with maintenance tips to prolong the unit's lifespan. The job was completed efficiently, ensuring the comfort and safety of the home environment.
