The filter passed inspection, and the thermostat terminals were at 25V. The heat and power storage devices passed, as did the air distribution system. Voltage enhancement and power storage devices were also tested and passed, with a minor issue found and resolved in the 40mf power storage device. Duct cleaning and aeroseal duct cleaning are scheduled for a return visit.


I performed maintenance on two gas furnaces, focusing on AC components. Both units were inspected, with filters checked and found to be in good condition. The first unit did not achieve a 20-degree delta T, capping at 12 degrees despite running for over 15 minutes. The indoor coil had significant rust, and a level one blower cleaning was conducted. The second unit had a 5-degree delta T, with the indoor coil also heavily rusted. The blower passed a tissue test, so no cleaning was done. The outdoor coils were cleaned with a coil cleaner and water.

In a normal situation with a normal unit you can do this. And its highly efficient, so anything hinder its efficiency. The unit will protect itself and go into a fault. Removed the filter and mesh cover. Cycled unit multiple times to make sure it would shut on and off. No faults. All operations running normal. 20 delta t. Advised these calls that are related to maintenance can be chargeable. Made him aware of the filter type (spun fiberglass merv 4/30day cycle frequency to change them. And no cover outside while the unit runs.

Checked all electrical wiring connectors and harness are tight and secured system is functioning as intended at this time.
