I recently completed the installation and maintenance of a Platinum Heat Pump and duct system for the main house. This involved a thorough assessment of the existing setup, followed by the precise installation of the new Platinum Heat Pump unit. The ductwork was meticulously designed and installed to ensure optimal airflow and efficiency. I also performed a comprehensive system check to guarantee that the heat pump operates seamlessly with the duct system. Additionally, I calibrated the thermostat and conducted a performance test to confirm that the system meets the highest standards of energy efficiency and comfort. The entire process was completed with attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Today, we completed a complimentary duct cleaning estimate for Mrs. Anna, courtesy of Moon Air Inc. After our consultation, Mrs. Anna approved the recommended services, which include a thorough duct cleaning, HVAC system sanitization, and insulation of the supply plenum. A deposit of $1,762.00 was collected to secure the project and schedule the work. Our team will perform the duct cleaning to remove accumulated dust, debris, and contaminants, ensuring improved air quality. We will also sanitize the HVAC system to eliminate bacteria, mold, and allergens. Additionally, we will insulate the supply plenum to enhance energy efficiency. The remaining balance will be due upon completion of the services during our return visit.

I replaced the basic refrigerant pressure control system under warranty. This involved a thorough inspection and removal of the old system, followed by the installation of a new one. To ensure optimal performance, I conducted a triple evacuation to remove any residual air and contaminants. The system was then recharged to the manufacturer's factory specifications. After the repair, I tested the system in cooling mode, achieving a supply air temperature of 53°F and a return air temperature of 78°F, resulting in a Delta T of 25°F. The system is now operating properly and functioning as intended. Please allow sufficient time for the air conditioning system to cool the home's interior, as materials like walls and furnishings retain heat and need time to reach the desired temperature.
Upon arrival, I confirmed the air conditioning was set to a comfortable 74°F. I conducted a comprehensive system commissioning on the heat pump and air handler, ensuring all components were functioning correctly. I verified proper voltages and checked the transformer's output at 27V. Static pressure was normal, with an excellent temperature differential of 20°F. Supply temperatures were 55°F, and return temperatures were 75°F. I also confirmed the thermostat was programmed correctly and all settings were accurate. Superheat was 12°F and dew point was 9°F, indicating optimal performance. The system operated normally, with heat activation as needed, and backup heat will be tested in colder temperatures.
