I carefully guided the customer through the process of removing the old batteries from the thermostat. I explained the importance of handling the batteries properly to avoid any damage. After removing the old batteries, I demonstrated how to insert new ones correctly, ensuring the thermostat would function optimally. I also provided tips on how to maintain the thermostat and extend the battery life. The customer was satisfied with the thorough explanation and felt confident in managing the thermostat independently.
I recently completed a comprehensive home service project that involved replacing both the furnace and air conditioning unit. The old systems were outdated and inefficient, so a new installation was necessary. Alongside the replacements, I performed a thorough duct cleaning to ensure optimal air quality and system performance. Additionally, I applied the AeroSeal system to seal and insulate the ducts, enhancing energy efficiency. Finally, I installed a power vented water heater, which provides reliable hot water and is designed for efficient energy use. This project significantly improved the home's comfort and energy efficiency.

Completed comfort call inspection of residential HVAC system located in basement utility closet. Documented existing furnace unit and associated ductwork, plumbing, and electrical connections through photographic assessment. Equipment shows normal operational wear with dust accumulation on surfaces and components, consistent with standard residential use requiring routine maintenance attention.
I successfully replaced the refrigerant pumping system, ensuring optimal performance. The old system was carefully removed, and a new, efficient unit was installed. I checked for leaks, calibrated the system, and tested it to confirm proper operation. The job was completed with attention to detail, ensuring the system meets all safety and performance standards.

I conducted a comprehensive warranty repair and club rejuvenation cleaning on a Daikin ductless mini-split system. The process involved recovering the existing refrigerant charge and replacing the outdoor compressor and main electronic control circuit board. The system was pressure tested at 450 PSI and found leak-free. A triple evacuation procedure achieved a vacuum level of 500 microns. The system was recharged with R-410A refrigerant to the specified 2.08 lbs. Performance testing in cooling, dehumidification, and heating modes showed a 23°F cooling differential and a 28°F heating rise. Electrical connections were verified, and the indoor coil was rinsed and cleaned. The condensate system was inspected for proper drainage. The system is now operating normally within specifications.
Upon receiving a complaint about the air conditioning system not cooling, I conducted a thorough inspection. The customer had previously had the system charged multiple times, but the issue persisted. During my assessment, I identified several problems within the refrigerant system. I presented the customer with repair options and explained the potential benefits of each. However, the customer expressed a desire for further consultation with one of our comfort advisors to explore replacement options. I provided the customer with our best repair recommendation and discussed all available alternatives in detail. This ensured the customer was well-informed and could make an educated decision regarding the next steps.
I conducted a thorough cleaning and inspection of the air conditioning system. This involved cleaning the evaporator and condenser coils, and the unit cabinets to ensure optimal airflow and heat transfer efficiency. All electrical connections were inspected for security and defects, with no issues found. The condensate drains and safety controls were tested and verified. The system was operated in both cooling and heating modes, with a ΔT of 23°F. All components, including the heat exchanger and air distribution system, passed tests. The outdoor unit was also inspected, with all voltage readings and devices within acceptable parameters.

During the inspection of the AC system, I thoroughly examined its components and performance. Despite its age, the system is operating efficiently and remains in decent condition, ensuring it will likely last through the summer. I highlighted the benefits of becoming a Gold Club Member, which includes two visits annually. Each visit involves a light cleaning and comprehensive testing of safety and efficiency, providing peace of mind before the heating and cooling seasons. The annual membership fee of $239.40 offers significant savings on potential repairs or replacements in the future.

I conducted a thorough HVAC rejuvenation cleaning, including inspecting the air conditioning system. The blower wheel was clean and spinning freely. Static pressure was recorded at.98 in. w.c. with a 23°F Delta T. The voltage distribution system was below spec with 10 ohms of resistance and pitted contacts, so it was replaced. The refrigerant pumping system passed the megaohm test, but the LRA was above spec, so a performance enhancement system was recommended. All electrical connections were secure.
Adrian was very courteous and patiently answered all of my questions. He did a very thorough job and I was completely satisfied.

Got the job done fast.
Great service from a professional technician whom I trust. A costly repair this time, but it is what it is. I
Jack was very friendly and explanetory.
I meant to rate the service last time he was out in the summer. He helped resolve an issue with a part with the assistance of the office, which I greatly appreciated.
He was able to resolve the leak quickly.
Jack is the best. Great having him as our tech.
So to the good from a customer service representative experience. After the issues experienced with the first technician I called in and spoke to the service coordinator who within an hour had a service manager on his way to correct the problems of the 1st technician. Paul came out went through the system and completed what we needed as far as cleaning and tune up. Paul took the time to test everything and even discuss questions regarding filter sizes and efficiency questions. Paul resolved what started the day with an absolute negative experience and restored our faith in Moon Air to do the right thing and do the job right.
Greg came out as scheduled. Beyond that the entire experience was less than desirable. He serviced the wrong unit and when it was brought to his attention that he was servicing the wrong unit he made it appear as though he corrected the error and cleaned the correct unit. Technician left with the burner and heater still running with notes stating the thermostat relay needed replaced and notes of needs for the unit we do not use nor have ever had serviced. Sadly this was not a good experience at all.
Clay was very friendly and professional. Explained everything, very knowledgeable, kind and competent. It was a pleasure to have him service my home.
