I performed maintenance on five mini split heads and one outdoor S series unit. All filters were removed, cleaned with water, and left to dry. I inspected the indoor unit and ensured the drain was clear. The blower, coil, and furnace were all in good condition. The current filter, a 16x25x1, needed replacement. The customer ordered new filters, which she planned to have her son install the next day. I examined the outdoor unit and discovered a faulty capacitor with a reading of 42/4.7, whereas it should be 50/5. I replaced the capacitor, which was under warranty. After the replacement, I checked the pressures, amps, and performed a megohm test, confirming everything was functioning correctly. I also tightened all electrical connections and rinsed the coil with a hose.

Moon Service did a very good job on preventative care of my HVAC SYSTEM
I have been dealing with Moon Air for 5 years and I have always had a great experience. They listen to what your needs are and there is no pressure from their project manager. My last experience was a heater cleaning and from that the tech found a creak in my heat exchanger. I purchased a new heater since the old one was 19 yrs old. All is well!
